Jeremy joined DRD Partnership in 2017 as a Senior Advisor after a varied career. Some of our team had worked alongside Jeremy for decades previously and enjoyed his calm, incisive, and efficient decision-making during good times and when the chips were down. His humour at times of great pressure was legendary, as was his ability to cut through to the core of the problem and build a talented team around him to solve it.

A lovely, charming man, Jeremy’s values were lived at home with his beloved family, whom he adored, as much as they played out in the workplace. He had some powerful motivators – his unending wish to improve the lives of many, which often saw him speaking truth to power. He consistently sought to protect those whose voices were frequently hardly heard, and was unwavering in his pursuit of the rights of children, vulnerable adults and those suffering persecution.

Jeremy was an arch negotiator.  He entered each deal, be it political or commercial, knowing his red lines. He rarely had to go near them, winning at almost every turn while the ‘other side’ frequently commented on his sense of fair play as he powered through his plans.

His wit, smart one-liners and funny tales from the corridors of power, anonymised of course, would make the enjoyment of great food and wine with Jeremy very special.

We are so glad he joined our team. We are proud of the work we did together and the difference we made for our clients. Jeremy’s presence and expertise contributed hugely to the success of our firm and he will be greatly missed.
