Advising a leading biotech pharma company on their approach to ESG


We were engaged to conduct group-wide ESG analysis, from historic CSR programmes and bottom-up carbon-saving initiatives to corporate governance and storytelling.


What started as a root and branch review of their operations led to the writing of an inaugural ESG report, the integration of ESG messaging into key stakeholder communications, and a plan for ongoing ESG campaigns across the year ahead.


Our first phase provided a thorough assessment of the state of play, via interviews with key leaders, and activity-mapping against both ESG frameworks and SDGs, providing recommendations on priority areas of focus. During our second phase, we created a bespoke ESG position for the company, articulating their positive impact on society and the planet, and identifying key commitments and targets. As a part of a final communications stage, we drafted relevant sections of the company’s annual report, and created a new, standalone ESG report for stakeholders ranging from investors and analysts to colleagues and customers.
