Sofiat Kolawole is a strategic communications specialist experienced in co-ordinating crisis response, driving the creation and implementation of issues preparedness projects, managing proactive and reactive press offices and leading impactful campaigns for national and international brands, corporates and organisations. She has counselled clients across a wide range of sectors on major reputational challenges including complex organisational restructurings, cyber security breaches, international disputes and litigation, ESG challenges, social activism, corporate scandals and multi-market product recalls. Prior to joining DRD, Sofiat worked at large international communications agencies and has been recognised for her diversity, equity and inclusion advocacy in the PR industry. She holds a BA in Modern Languages & Cultures from Durham University and speaks French and Spanish.
